Welcome to Fitzhugh Neighbors!
We are a grassroots community united in protecting the Hill Country's way of life in Dripping Springs and Southwest Austin. Together, we cherish our peaceful surroundings—dark night skies, quiet rural roads, and clean, protected waters.
But now, this way of life is at risk.
A proposal to build a massive, multi-story amphitheater on Fitzhugh Road threatens everything we’ve worked to preserve. With plans to host 5,000 people and 2,000 cars, this development will bring:
Intense noise pollution that will shatter our peaceful evenings.
Bright lights that will drown out the stars we love to see.
Increased fire hazards in an area already vulnerable to wildfire.
Unmanageable traffic and safety risks along Fitzhugh’s narrow, two-lane roads.
A threat to Barton Creek, with wastewater runoff that could endanger our precious water sources.
This is the wrong location for such a development, and we as residents have the right to protect our environment, our homes, and our families.
At Fitzhugh Neighbors, we stand for responsible development that respects the land and the people who live here. Join us in opposing this amphitheater and advocating for a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future for our community.
Your voice matters. Together, we can protect the Hill Country we love.
